For Chef Matt, perseverance is everything. His start in the culinary industry came with great uncertainty. Despite not knowing exactly what he wanted to do, he attended culinary school and with time, found his niche. Longing to make an impact with his creative spirit, he happily joined the Fleming’s crew in 2004. Working at Fleming’s, Chef Matt was given creative freedom as well as a promising professional opportunity. Collaborating with his teammates, he developed into a chef who values seasonality, locality, and originality. He aims to please the St. Louis location with flavorful cuisines ranging from traditional style barbecue to exquisite filets. Chef Matt welcomes the chance to showcase his culinary skills at his Table, where he infuses a St. Louis flair into the traditional steakhouse flavor.
