About Chef Christopher W Saffles
Chef Christopher’s passion for cooking and comfort food started when he was a child. He helped to open Fleming’s Knoxville in 2006 and later, left to travel the world. After living in a variety of locations from Vermont to Costa Rica, he made his way back home to Knoxville with a newly found inspiration. In 2014, Chef Christopher returned to Fleming’s and became Chef Partner in 2015. Chef’s Table has given him the freedom to expand his own flavors by using seasonal local ingredients, and the opportunity to further develop his culinary experience and develop his kitchen staff.
