About Chef Christopher Citro

Chef Christopher started cooking alongside his grandmother as a child, and it was during these at-home culinary lessons that he discovered his enjoyment of cooking. This passion drove him to pursue the culinary arts professionally, and he went on to study at Johnson & Wales. After rising to become executive chef of a steakhouse by the age of 26, Chef Christopher then brought his experience to the Fleming’s team. He cites the Chef’s Table as a chance to let loose, experiment, and create something special — and it’s an opportunity he loves to share with his team. The brainstorming process for Chef Christopher’s Table includes a notepad session with his associates followed by a trial and error process, during which recipes are tweaked to perfection and orchestrated to satisfy the desires of their guests. Among the many lessons Chef Christopher learned from his grandmother, he prioritizes one: the best dishes are the ones that are simple.
