About Chef Erik Andresen

Born and raised in Livonia, MI, Chef Erik moved to England with his family at 16. This move was the first trip in a series of world travels, where Chef Erik combined his passion for cooking with the varied cuisines of the cultures he visited. Upon becoming Chef Partner around two years ago, Chef Erik describes his career as coming "full circle" to bring him back home. His brainstorming and innovation process for the Chef's Table is inspired by his background in Italian cuisine, his Scandinavian roots, and the collaborative spirit of his kitchen. By bouncing ideas off of his kitchen staff, a few of whom bring the influence of Latin cuisine to the table, Chef Erik serves up creations that are both locally inspired and internationally influenced.
