Innovative New DishesAt Fleming’s, we continually update our menu with new and innovative dishes. Try our latest entrée of fresh Broiled Pacific Swordfish, truly the “prime steak” of the sea. Or our new Pan Crisped Pork Belly appetizer, savory and satisfying served over glorious goat cheese grits. There’s a delicious Heirloom Tomato & Housemade Burrata Salad, a perfect pairing of soft, creamy cheese made in-house daily and juicy vine-ripened tomatoes. And a terrific new Small Plate of melt-in-your-mouth Short Ribs of Beef.
A big, tannic Cabernet Sauvignon is perfect with a richly marbled steak, such as a bone-in ribeye, but would overwhelm a grilled Pork Chop. Tuna Mignon with its intensely flavored peppercorn crust would make this Cabernet appear even more tannic, while a mellower, less tannic Merlot would soothe it. The best advice of all is simply to experiment - the more often, the better.
