For Chef Jared, the journey into cooking began with a neighbor who happened to be a chef—one who ignited a passion that would define his career. After attending culinary school at Atlantic Cape Community College in New Jersey, Jared built his skillset through hands-on experience, guided by a host of talented chefs who helped shape his craft. Over his 21 years in the industry, he’s developed a culinary philosophy rooted in simplicity and satisfaction: not everything needs to be complicated to be unforgettable. Whether it’s a rich Italian dish or a perfectly churned batch of ice cream, he finds joy in creating food that evokes emotion and brings people together. As a Chef Partner at Fleming’s for more than five years, Chef Jared believes in pushing forward—both in the business and within his team. He leads with a mindset that is "tough on standards, not on people," and emphasizes the importance of unity, consistency, and pride in execution. From menu favorites like Sweet Chili Calamari and Fleming's Potatoes to the refined precision of Beef Carpaccio, Jared takes pride in delivering dishes that exceed expectations.
