For Chef Steven, the kitchen has always been a place of comfort, connection, and creativity. From a young age, he was drawn to the rhythms of cooking, often helping prepare meals during family gatherings instead of playing outside. That early passion evolved into a lifelong pursuit when he joined Fleming’s in 2011—his first official cooking job. Although Steven has no formal training, his culinary knowledge and technique have been shaped through experience, self-motivation, and an unwavering hunger to grow. After a brief break, he returned to Fleming’s in 2021, bringing renewed dedication and leadership to the team. Steven is especially passionate about Italian cuisine, taking pride in the craft of homemade pasta, bread, and cheeses. He views cooking as an act of love and pours that philosophy into every plate. Whether he’s preparing a perfectly balanced Beef Carpaccio—his menu favorite—or inspiring his team to create dishes they'd proudly serve their own families. His kitchen is built on camaraderie, respect, and high standards, where he's side by side with his team through every service. Through the Chef’s Signature Series, Chef Steven continues to create exceptional dining experiences defined by soulful food, team spirit, and a genuine love for the culinary arts.
